Multi-award winning hair stylist, Niamh O’Connor, has earned a reputation as Irish celebrity hair stylist of choice, with an international career spanning more than thirteen years.

Niamh was Glam Squad hairstylist for Dancing With The Stars host, Amanda Byram for 2 years, and currently Ireland’s Got Talent judge, Denise Van Outen. She also created hair styling on all the shows’ promotional shoots and personal appearances.

Commencing her career with iconic hair salon Toni & Guy in Ireland, she quickly made her mark styling on spectacular and fast-paced hair shows and photo shoots, and over seven years, Niamh’s expertise in hair styling led to her working in other salon branches around Europe and the Middle East. These international opportunities gave her diverse learning experiences, working alongside some of the world’s leading hair educators and experts.

Returning to Ireland, she was headhunted for the role of Technical Manager for Dublin-based salon Preen. During her three year tenure there, she was nominated for Image Magazine’s Colourist of the Year, an award she won. Niamh was Creative Director for hair in prestigious Dublin salon for a number of years, Callan & Co, owned by celebrity makeup artist, Paula Callan, where she was nominated for Image Magazine’s Colourist of the Year award.

Celebrity clients include Samantha Mumba, Denise Van Outen, Amanda Byram, Laura Whitmore and Grainne Seoige. Image, Life, VIP, U and Irish Tatler are just a few of the publications that have featured Niamh’s work.
